Urban Survival: Are Black people prepared?

What what you do if there was a natural disaster? What about a deadly virus spreading throughout the nation? What would you do if there was a nationwide grid shutdown? Can you survive on your own? Do you know how to defend yourself? Do you know how to shoot a gun properly? Can you protect your family? These are the questions people should be asking themselves. I don’t think too many black people are asking these questions. And they should be in these uncertain times. In this video I explain some of the things you would need in a national crisis. I hope this helps some of you.
A basic emergency supply kit could include the following recommended items:
Water – one gallon of water per person per day for at least three days, for drinking and sanitation
Food – at least a three-day supply of non-perishable food
Battery-powered or hand crank radio and a NOAA Weather Radio with tone alert
Flashlight
First aid kit
Extra batteries
Whistle to signal for help
Dust mask to help filter contaminated air and plastic sheeting and duct tape to shelter-in-place
Moist towelettes, garbage bags and plastic ties for personal sanitation
Wrench or pliers to turn off utilities
Manual can opener for food
Local maps
Cell phone with chargers and a backup battery
